I am using zte bsnl evdo ZTE AC8700 modem for about two months. I have installed zte modem on a freshly installed laptop with windows 7. It was working great for two days. Then after installing some software i had to restart my system while still connected to the internet via zte.

I restarted it and later when i opnened the zte dialer it gives the following error. Microsoft visual c runtime error!

Now i do not have the option of seeing the connection speed/ tower reception etc which was present in the dialer UI.

Anybody have any idea of why this happens? P.S: i have my project work due and desperately need the solution. I would be grateful if you could help. P.S: i am sure that this problem started because i restarted while i was connected to the net. And ia m sure this is not a compatibility problem since it was working fine for two days.
