I realize that my Audible books are available in ITunes Mac. However, I make broad use of the clips feature on my iPhone and iPad. There is no iTunes accommodation to access or play my saved clips (or create new ones). It would be wonderful to have a stand-alone Audible app for Mac (and PC). I am an iPhone app developer.

99% of the code needed to create a Mac app is already present in the iPhone/iPad code (as xCode uses the same objective C frameworks for all Apple devices). It wouldn't take much development to create a Mac app.
